Brad Feld Talks Local Startup Communities at WUSTL

Saint Louis – January 15, 2013: Brad Feld, a managing director at Foundry Group and co-founder of TechStars, will remotely give a speech on building startup communities and conduct a Q&A via Google+ Hangouts. The event is being held on Monday, January 28 in Whitaker Hall Auditorium on the WUSTL main campus. Students, faculty, and startup community members are invited to attend. The event is sponsored by the Google Student Ambassador Program.

Brad is one of the managing directors at Foundry Group, a venture capital firm that invests in early stage software / Internet companies throughout the United States. He is also the co-founder of TechStars, a mentor-driven accelerator, author of several books and blogs, and a marathon runner. His book Startup Communities: Building an Entrepreneurial Ecosystem in Your City focuses on building a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem. Published yesterday, his book Startup Life: Surviving and Thriving in a Relationship with an Entrepreneur highlights work-life balance for entrepreneurs.
